Find instructions and tips for SFS services below. All major modern browsers and operating systems are supported. It is recommended that javascript is enabled.


We know you may have questions that can't be answered on our web sites (mus.edu and mgslp.org). SFS representatives can answer your questions directly from our Ask tool. Simply complete the form and select the relevant question topic. Once completed, your question will be forwarded to the appropriate personnel at SFS.


The SFS Dropbox is a messaging service that allows us to send and receive confidential and private information and files in a secure manner. If you are a recipient of a Dropbox message, simply click the link included in the e-mail mesage and enter your e-mail address for confirmation. Files up to 10MB in size can be sent through this service.

Accepted Files
Many different file formats are accepted including:

  • Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx)
  • Microsoft Excel (.xls, .xlsx, .csv)
  • Microsoft Powerpoint (.ppt, .pptx)
  • Compressed (.zip) Files
  • Plain text (.txt)
  • Portable Document Format (.pdf)

Benefits of an Account
An account gives you the capabilities much like that of an e-mail account:

  • Track sent and received messages
  • Respond to and delete messages
  • Keep a list of recent SFS contacts

Scholarship Registration

The MUS Central Office administers several scholarships including the Montana University System Honor Scholarship (MUSHS), Governor's "Best & Brightest" High School MERIT (MERIT), and Governor's "Best & Brightest" MERIT-AT-LARGE (MAL). Online registration opens December 1, 2011. An account is required to apply.

FAO & Counselor Resources

SFS is currently in the process of completing the collection of FAO and Counselor resources. They should be complete in 2012.
